Annie Frazier is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist based in Asheville, NC. She first came up in music playing classical viola and singing in madrigal choirs. She truly found her musical foothold when she was gifted a ukulele in 2009. She and her trusty ukulele have carried each other through many years of campfire music jams, long road trips all over the world, and countless hours on sidewalks busking while shaping her unique and engaging songwriting style. Annie’s busking was featured in the 2019 Explore Asheville ad campaign.

Annie loves the simple, approachable voice of the ukulele and the quiet power it holds to engage audiences and connect with people. She writes about human complexity with lyrical simplicity, her love for the natural world, staying present and grounded through life’s twists and turns, as well as has a collection of literary-inspired songs from authors and poets that have influenced her.

Her musical influences include Regina Spektor, Feist, First Aid Kit, Indigo Girls, Mountain Man, Kimya Dawson and Lucy Dacus.

She believes community and collaboration are integral to good music- and that belief is what drives her in her (many) music projects.

Annie co-leads the indie pop project Sad Girl Music Club, along with Katie Sachs.

Annie started the folk acapella group, Holler & Crow. Holler & Crow holds a residency at Curious Folk events, with a monthly draw of 100+ attendees.
